Time Flies!!

Hi All,

Can't believe over a year has gone by since I last blogged! Part of that reason is because I lost my username and password - hum! Oh! well - A lot has happened since then.

Now live in the Netherlands and getting married to my soulmate. The plan was to be this year but now this year is upon us it may have to be next year - I really must plan ahead more!!

The past two years has been wonderful working as a Teaching assistant - add to that After school play worker and Home Tutor - and the days have been full, busy and rewarding.

Here in the Netherlands life is much quieter. The days are mine to fill as I wish. I do so by indulging my passion for drawing and singing along to my guitar. Shopping and cooking come a close second. Need to learn the language - which I am finding very difficult - before I could contemplate getting a job here. As far as I know - they don't have Teaching Assistants!

Miss my family in England but try to keep in touch by emails and phone calls.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year? Had my daughter over and it was lovely. We visited an ice sculpture exhibition in Zwolle. The theme was the Bible. The temperature was minus 8 which you didn't really notice until the bite in your fingers and toes started to set in. It was really good - very talented artists. Looking forward to 2009 but going to make sure I keep my resolutions - well at least try to LOL!
