Doctor Who and the BBC

Where would we be without the BBC? I for one would miss it. It brings us so many wonderful programmes - the nature documentaries - cookery programmes - entertainment and history and all available worldwide. It is a life saver for me here in The Netherlands. Well it's that time of year when Doctor Who airs to our screens. This Saturday the 1st September the new series starts and it sees a welcome return of the Daleks - love them or loathe them, it just would not be Doctor Who without them. It does not matter which actor takes over the role and I know we all have our favourites (mine was Jon Pertwee - in the 70's - yes I am showing my age lol!) but it is still Doctor Who - a legend.
